The Online Learning Agreement
Since April 2018, Sorbonne School of Economics works exclusively with the Online Learning Agreement (OLA). The idea behind it is very simple: less paperwork, centralized database of signed learning agreements and eco-friendly international relations office management. In order to get your Online Learning Agreement signed, you need to create a personal account, that allows you to enter all contact information, courses and codes and the necessary signatures by your home university and by Sorbonne School of Economics.
► Please read this Online Learning Agreement Guide (PDF-1.62Mo-English) carefully, as it explains you how to fill it in step by step.

What is a Learning Agreement ?
The Learning Agreement is a contract that allows students studying abroad to accredit courses in their home universities. The learning agreement needs to be signed by yourself, your home university and the hosting university. The contract makes sure that your home university agrees on your course selection at Panthéon-Sorbonne and that you are taking courses that are open to exchange students.
Once it has been signed by all three parties, the administrative officer will enroll you in the classes of your choice. This is important in order to appear on the exam list at the end of your semester. If you come from a different department and you wish to take courses at the Ecole d'Economie, please let us know and send us a copy of your learning agreement.
Only students coming from American universities can choose classes of other departments or education levels, because of specific agreements between Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the respective universities.
The beginning of your mobility is the first day you are present at the university. This can be a course, the introduction week, an information day or other.
The end of your mobility is the last day the student attends a course, tutorial or exam, not the date of departure.
Please note that our delegate professors are full-time professors. Full time professors teach and work on their research activities. The treatment of your (preliminary) Online Learning Agreement can take up to 10 days. In order to treat your request the fastest way possible, please avoid sending multiple emails on the same topic.
We will organize an information meeting on how to register for courses before the start of the semester. The date of the meeting will be published on this website. You will also be informed by email. You will be given approximately two weeks to visit classes before signing the final learning agreement in case you need to readjust your course selection. When printing your learning agreement, please only print on one side if it has more than one page.
